The idea for this cover originates in our anger about cis-men wripping off their t-shirts while playing punkshows with the excuse that it’s too hot. Fuck that! We’d also like to put off our shirts when we feel hot, but as wimmin, gender queers, trans and intersexed persons etc. we still can’t live with the looks at and comments on our bodies, the disgusting men thinking it’s an invitation to touch us, if we did. Not only at punkshows, also in this whole patriarchal soceity.
With this CD and our band we want to smash beauty ideals, gender roles and soceital norms. We want to fight the whole system of domination and authorities. We want to support those ones who are also fighting against these things, and encourage everyone to carry these thoughts and actions to the places and cities where they live and further.
